From Chairman Phil Trevarton
Trelawny’s Army was once again at Penryn RFC to provide two match balls for each Club entered at the Under 7 & 8’s County Festival on the 26th April.
Our sponsorship of this event has now been running for three years, and we will sponsor the tournament again next year. It is truly a marvel to behold so many young rugby players enjoying their sport and a worthy event for us to be involved in.
I was also pleased to see some ex-County Players involved in passing their skills onto their charges, well done to you, the future of Cornish Rugby is in your hands.
A big thank-you to all at Penryn RFC for allowing us to attend with our Trade stand and we’ll see you next year.

At the conclusion of our committee meeting on Wednesday 29th April the club made a ball presentation to Truro RFC as token of thanks for holding meetings at the club.

TASC was invited to attend the 2015 Festival with the trade-stand, but was unable to participate owing to work commitments, however TASC members Phil & Marina Trevarton met with Tony Payton and Darryl Cook to present and donate training balls for the 2015 tournament.
As a result Trelawny’s Army Supporters Club is proud to announce that it will provide the match-balls for the 2016 Tournament.
This extension to our sponsorship activity is aimed at assisting youth development by providing new rugby balls for Clubs involved in nurturing foundation rugby skills and is in addition to our sponsorship to Penryn’s U7 & U8 Tag Festival.

Update
Sunday 26th April – Venue for the KENT game is confirmed as GRAVESEND.
Sunday 10th May –  Next weekend, Cornwall RFU Mens team will have their second County Championship game away to Kent at Gravesend RFC.
One important point of note is the post code for satnav users. The Gravesend club official post code will direct fans to the wrong place! We strongly recommend the code to use, especially by the bus drivers is DA12 2PP.
Many of the drivers ignore this and get lost as there are a number of places the other one can lead to.
That said, We hope everyone makes it safely to the ground next weekend and very much look forward to a sea of Trelawny’s Army and our black and gold at the ground.
