Officials from Trelawny’s Army were present at both Camborne and Roseland rugby clubs last Saturday to make the first of this season’s presentations of training balls to clubs who achieved promotion last season.

Club Chairman Phil Trevarton was at Roseland to make the presentation prior to their game against Liskeard-Looe.

Whilst, Vice-Chairman David Broadhurst was at Camborne making a presentation to club Chairman Andy Gill in the clubhouse prior to their game against Bromsgrove.

Both clubs were delighted and grateful to the “Army” for their generous gesture.

Further presentations will take place during the season to all clubs that won promotion last season.

Announcement of the winners of the TASC Cornwall Player of the Year and the TASC Cornwall Under 20 Player of the Year Shields.

It was with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of “Mac” on the 3rd September.

He was not only a committed member of TASC, travelling on the coaches to Cornwall’s away games, but also served for a number of years on our committee.

He was always a regular at Redruth and loved his rugby.

We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to his family.

The funeral will be held at Treswithian Downs Crematorium, Camborne on Friday 30th September at 2pm.

Our annual dinner will once again be held at the Rose-in-Vale Country Hotel, near St. Agnes on Saturday 25th February 2017.

We are delighted that former CRFU President Kenny Plummer has agreed to be our guest for the evening.

Kick-off will be 7 pm for 7:15 pm PROMPT!

Trelawny’s Army Supporters Club is once again pleased to be supporting the Under 9 County Tournament at Tregorrick Park, St Austell on Sunday 17 April and the combined U7s & U8s tournament at Penryn RFC on Sunday 24 April.
