General Data Protection Regulation and TASC Membership
Trelawny’s Army Supporters Club (TASC) collects members’ personal information – name, address, email address and phone number, and, where relevant, children’s names and the name of a spouse or partner – when you submit a membership application form. This is used to send you the quarterly Black & Gold newsletter and your membership card, and to help organise TASC trips, social events and merchandise.
Your information is only ever shared between you, the Membership Secretary and named TASC committee members, and only for these purposes. We do not share your personal details with anyone outside TASC.
Records are kept on a computer spreadsheet and in folders, alongside your original hard-copy application form, with a backup copy of the spreadsheet kept on a memory stick. These are all kept safe and secure by the Membership Secretary.
If a membership lapses, you will receive a renewal reminder in the August newsletter and a final reminder in November; if the form is not returned, your details are removed from the spreadsheet the following January. Your original hard-copy application form is then kept for up to three years, in case you renew late and wish to keep your original membership number, and is afterwards securely destroyed. While your membership is current, your application form is also kept on computer file.
Unless you tell us otherwise, we will publish your child’s birthday in the Black & Gold newsletter as part of TASC’s birthday wishes.
By submitting a signed application form, you are giving TASC your consent to hold and use your information as set out above.
This notice covers the personal information you give us when you join TASC. For details on how the trelawnysarmy.org website itself uses cookies and other data, see our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
If you have any questions about this policy, please email membership@trelawnysarmy.org.
Onen hag oll – TASC.
