ST AUSTELL 80 MINUTES FROM TWICKERS DATE

NO WHERE else to start this week than with St Austell’s win over Wimborne in the Final of the SW Intermediate Cup Final 14-8.

The win puts them in an away tie at either Brighton or North Walsham, neither of which will be easy, with the winner playing against the North/Midlands winners in the final at Twickenham.

CAMBORNE MAINTAIN CHALLENGE

CAMBORNE 34 – 22 WADEBRIDGE CAMELS

Camborne warmed the hearts of their supporters on a bitterly cold afternoon with a bonus point win over their Cornish rivals in a pulsating Tribute South West 1 West encounter at the Recreation Ground to maintain their promotion challenge.

Camborne winger Luke Johnson enjoyed a fine game scoring two of the Cherry and Whites five tries amongst a personal point’s haul of 19 to cap a man-of-the-match performance.
