CORNISH PIRATES MAKE CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

So the twenty-one point advantage proved to be more than enough after the first leg of the semi-final as the Cornish Pirates, despite losing at the Memorial Ground 29-18 went through on aggregate 63-53 over favourites Bristol.

The Pirates exposed Bristol in open play scoring two cracking tries on the counter through full back Rob Cook and openside flanker Phil Burgess.
