BillIt was with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of “Mac” on the 3rd September.
He was not only a committed member of TASC, travelling on the coaches to Cornwall’s away games, but also served for a number of years on our committee.
He was always a regular at Redruth and loved his rugby.

A very busy weekend for me covering both the Redruth and Cornish Pirates’ games for the local press, both were excellent games although the more satisfying from a spectator’s point of view will have been the 31 all draw between the Pirates and Ealing on Sunday.

In the Championship, the Cornish Pirates got their season off to a great start with a win on the road at Bedford Blues 26-17.
