TRELAWNY'S ARMY "PLAYERS OF THE YEAR" AWARDS 2008

The Trelawny's Army Cornwall "Players of the Year 2008", as voted for by TASC members, were presented with their awards at the Trelawny's Army AGM at the St. Austell Brewery Visitors' Centre on Wednesday 1st October.

The senior award, the Bill Osborne Memorial Shield, went to Cornish All Blacks' Number 8 Sam Hocking, with the Under 20s award, the Tony Mead Memorial Shield, going to Mounts Bay (now Cornish Pirates') prop Paul Andrew.

The presentations were made by TASC president John Treglown and the well-known local sports journalist Nigel Walrond.
